Hi friends! I'm Julia Chang, and I co-founded Pushpinned. In my free time, I love dancing, playing tennis, and playing my ukulele, as music is so so so intimately important to me and I cannot imagine my life without it. I write and edit for my school newspaper, the Spokesman, and at home one can usually find me scribbling down thoughts or doodling in my journal. I’m also super into fashion and design! In the midst of my passion for writing, my adoration for photography, and my love for sharing my experiences with others, Pushpinned was born during a conversation with some of my best friends. 

My identity has always been hard to pin down (pun completely intended). Although hobbies shape my daily life, my personality is so much more involved than that. But, if I had to, I would sum myself up with the phrase, “Where to next?” That’s really why this website is the culmination of everything I am and want to be— why I am absolutely in love with all that this blog is. Welcome!

Head of Design, Co-Founder

Hi, my name is Adayliah Ley, and I helped co-found Pushpinned! I live in a university town with my parents and our three cats and two dogs. If I’m not in school, you can find me playing soccer, biking, painting, or hanging out in town with my friends. I love engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking and watersports. I involve myself in many different things, including student government and an affinity group. I try to live my life “uncomfortably”, by attempting a variety of things.

I joined this blog to tell my story and to inspire others. I want to share my experiences and improve my writing and photography skills. I hope you appreciate our efforts and enjoy Pushpinned!

Co-Founder

Hi! My name is Rina Sclove, and I helped co-found Pushpinned. I live in Princeton with my mom, dad, little sister, and twin, who just so happens to be our photographer, Julia. My hobbies include crying while watching the sad parts of Disney movies, struggling to pass Honors Geometry, and maintaining my nonexistent social life.

Ok, fine, those aren't my only hobbies. More than anything, I love to read. My mom says that when I was a baby I used to try and read the tags on my stuffed animals, and I haven't stopped reading since then. I also like to write, and I'm an active member of my schools' Model UN team. The spirit of reading, writing, and debating is opening yourself up to new experiences, ideas, and opinions, so it is no surprise that I love to travel. My favorite destination is Walt Disney World, (I've been about eighteen times!) where I'm an annual passholder, but my desire to see the world extends far beyond the Magic Kingdom. I joined Pushpinned to share the small slices of the world I've been lucky enough to experience with all of you, and to broaden your horizons as much as I am capable of. Welcome to Pushpinned!

Hi guys, my name is Megha Thomas, and I co-founded Pushpinned! I have been playing the piano for seven years and love to play tennis and basketball in my free time. Always being exposed to the arts in my past has led to my growing passion for writing, acting, and drawing. Since I enjoy writing, I became Editor-in-Chief of the Spokesman, our school newspaper. I absolutely love to debate and participate in Model UN conferences. In everything I do, I try to help my community and the people around me. One day, while my friends and I were walking outside and playfully discussing our love of travel, this blog came to life.

I have been traveling all my life, especially to India where most of my relatives live. I have visited different places around the world, experiencing different cultures, food, languages, and people. My own story is largely made up of my travels and amazing experiences I have had around the world. Through this blog, I hope for you to be able to experience a little part of my life. I hope I can share my story with all of you and help you in your future endeavors. Enjoy, and stay pinned for more!

Hello, I'm Kat Lytkowski. I live near a dairy farm with my amazing family and my 3 cats. I'm mainly a dancer who loves choreography, but I have other interests as well. In my free time, I read, play the ukulele, and write poetry on Wattpad. I love food (although I'm a bit of a picky eater) and I'm very interested in the diverse lifestyles of people.

Pushpinned is named from my grandmother. In her basement, she has a huge map of the world. The map is decorated with hundreds of pushpins in a variety of colors and sizes. Some mark places she's been, others are places she wants to go. In this blog, I want you to dream big and bold. I guess that's why I'm a member :)

Hi there! I'm Raina Pahade. I was born in Manhattan and lived in Brooklyn for 6 years but now live in New Jersey. I love baking, which is why I run a baking organization called BetterWorld Cupcakes that donates to charities. I have been drawing and painting for years, so I'm quite passionate about art. Most would not consider me sporty, but I dance and play tennis. I have been doing Bollywood and Bharat Natyam for 8 years. Indian dance is important to me because it is a big part of my culture. Because of my religion, Jainism, I am vegetarian so I will cite some of the best places I get my vegetarian meals from!

 I am also a huge animal lover and care strongly about our wildlife. I even volunteer at an animal shelter in my free time. You will also probably see a lot of my 7 year old Shiba Inu, named Tikka. All in all, you will find most of my posts about food, fashion, travel, and art as those are my main interests. I joined pushpinned to share my story from struggles from mental health to my travels to Africa. I lead my life through kindness and I hope you guys love Pushpinned as much as I do!

Julia Sclove is Pushpinned's wonderful Director of Photography! She has an immense passion for taking pictures, and has helped the team with our portraits and group photos. As Co-Founder and Editor Rina's twin, she also takes photos traveling and dining with her sister. We hope you enjoy her undeniable talent as much as we do!
